About Me

IMG_3771 - Version 2
I create, I problem solve, and I’ve been told everything I touch “turns to art.”

I’ve been drawing, photographing, designing and crafting for as long as I can remember. My passion is creating beautiful solutions in any context: graphics, landscape design, floor plans, wedding design, and anything else I pursue. I have an eye for beautiful detail and a passion for vernacular forms, both of which strongly influence my photography and design.
I grew up in historic Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Wellesley College in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. I majored in Architectural Studies, an interdisciplinary major that combined fine arts, graphic design and architectural design with architectural history. I received my Master of Science in Historic Preservation from the University of Pennsylvania in 2010.
In my free time, I enjoy teaching — I’ve taught architecture courses for children, GRE/LSAT prep, and I teach weekly swing dancing lessons for my local nonprofit dance organization. I only began dancing in 2011 and have found it extremely rewarding. I also enjoy singing, crocheting, knitting, sewing, and ethnic cooking.
